ABOUT:
Cyber Strategy Advisors, LLC is a boutique cyber strategy advisory firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. CSA works with nonprofit organizations and foundations to strategically align their organizational vision, mission, and cause to practical cybersecurity and data privacy initiatives and programs that protect their most valuable assets.
THE CHALLENGE:
Nonprofits face many challenges that make them vulnerable to cyber attacks and unintentional data loss. The lack of financial resources and budget, combined with a lack of skilled cybersecurity personnel, are key risk contributors. These risks, in addition to the ever-increasing volume and sophistication of cyber threats, are what make nonprofits prime targets for cyber criminals. Research and data indicate that this trend will continue. It’s not a matter of if, but when.
THE SOLUTION:
Developing an effective and practical cyber strategy doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. By combining awareness and education with leadership and action, organizational leaders can understand which questions to ask to make informed, risk-based decisions that strategically align with the organization’s capacity, capabilities, vision, and goals. Organizations can’t manage what they can’t measure.
